Alan Stewart, ICT Consultant at Precept IT attended the Entrepreneurial Journey event with Dr Leah Totton at Hillsborough Castle yesterday evening (26th May 2016).
The event was run by Lisburn & Castlereagh City Council
Leah was inspiring, said Alan. ‘Work hard, trust your gut instincts & be patient’ – great advice for all budding entrepreneurs and apprentices everywhere! Hillsborough Castle was an excellent venue for this event.
Previously a pupil of Foyle and Londonderry College, Leah graduated from the University of East Anglia in June 2011 with an overall distinction in medicine before embarking on medical aesthetics training undertaken in Harley Street London. Having won the 2013 Apprentice prize of a £250,000 investment from businessman Lord Sugar, Leah launched her first clinic, Dr Leah Clinics, in the heart of the City of London, offering a range of cosmetic skincare treatments ranging from botox to laser treatments for the body and skin. Leah is passionate about the industry and has, in recent months, made several media appearances calling for industry regulation and standards to be improved. Leah had looked forward travelling home to Northern Ireland to share her entrepreneurial journey.
