Precept IT are City and Guilds accredited telecommunication engineers capable of delivering high spec network infrastructures for small to large businesses. Our registration as Quantum and Excel certified installers will guarantee you a high standard of installation that is fully commissioned with up to a 25 year component and performance warranty for complete peace of mind.
Fibre Optic Installations
Fibre optic installations carried out by Precept IT will be installed to the highest standard ensuring that all manufacturer and standards guidelines are met. Fibre is normally used as a backbone in high speed network infrastructures. High signal attenuation (signal loss) in copper Cat 5 and Cat 6 UTP cable means maximum run with this cable medium is 90 metre’s.
The properties of fibre mean that it is the ideal choice when required to extend networks over distances greater than this. All our fibre networks will be tested to ensure standards are met using an insertion loss metre. OTDR (Optical Time Domain Reflectometer) and Agilent Wirescope PRO test results can be provided upon request.
Digital satellite and aerial installations
Precept IT now offer a range of digital satellite and aerial installation options: including
• Single point Aerial and Satellite installs.
• Multi-room satellite and terrestrial installations
• IRS (Integrated Receiver systems) that are suitable for small to large apartment blocks and integrate all services (digital terrestrial, SKY+/HD, Freesat, DAB and FM radio) onto one receiver wall plate.
Precept IT will only use quality certified products on installs. We will test and commission all our installations using a state of the art spectrum analyser to ensure that you have the best possible channel reception.
